Psalm 19:9–10 [widescreen]

Sweeter than Honey!

Memorize God’s Word

O church, memorize God’s word. Hide it in your heart. Ruminate on it and digest it and think hard upon it. Repeat it again and again and call out to God for understanding. Receive it and treasure it. Don’t leave the Bible on your shelf when it is your source of life. By God’s written word he speaks the words of life to your soul.

Psalm 19:9–10 [widescreen]

Hide large chunks of it in your heart and recite it as you work or drive or shower or wait. You can memorize chapters and even books of the Bible.

The process will so bless you and enlighten you…I pray along with the Apostle Paul that, according to the riches of his glory, God may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith- that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
