A Lesson from Kings
There is only one God, and he does not change over the course of time. There is much that we can learn about him from studying the Bible. The Old Testament account of the history of the Israelites provides us with a greater understanding of who God is, and it also gives us more insight into how God deals with all people.
November 8th we studied the accounts of various kings of Israel and Judah as recorded in 2 Kings 15-21. We looked at the fall of the northern kingdom of Israel and the events leading up to the fall of the southern kingdom of Judah. This study focused on the fact that there are consequences to our actions, but God is willing to forgive us if we will only obey him. Watch as we learn from the example of the Israelite people.
