The Message of The Church
In Acts 3:11-26 we see the account of Peter and John going up to the temple and healing a crippled man. The response they receive is overwhelming and it leads to Peter preaching a powerful message in Solomon’s Portico. Peter makes it clear to all who hear his voice that it was by faith in the name of Jesus, the Author of life, that both healing and forgiveness come. But he clarifies this message of faith by giving the crowd an idea of what to do with this faith…repent and turn back. The gospel call requires action.
