What’s Our Response to Gay Marriage in the USA?

A Special Message 2 days after the Supreme Court ruling:

On June 26, 2015, the Supreme Court of the United States, in a landmark decision declared same-sex marriage must be recognized in all 50 states under the protection of the United States Constitution.  The New York Times reported it this way:

Justice Kennedy said gay and lesbian couples had a fundamental right to marry.

“No union is more profound than marriage, for it embodies the highest ideals of love, fidelity, devotion, sacrifice, and family,” he wrote. “In forming a marital union, two people become something greater than once they were.”

What’s the Church’s response supposed to be when the law of the land opposes the law of God? What’s the Church’s response to people in need of the grace of God? Pastor David will lead us to the Scriptures to find God’s way for living in a cultural footing of shifting sands.
