Living a Life Redeemed

The Apostle Paul gives wonderful instructions on living in Colossians 3:1-17. We learn of the principle of putting off and putting on here in this passage. But the reason we are to put off sin and put on righteousness is not to be made right with God. Indeed, Paul makes perfectly clear that it is precisely because we have already died and been raised with Christ and our life is now hid with Christ in God. So he describes for us the characteristics of the redeemed life; the life that is hidden with Christ in God. How might you faithfully seek to follow Paul’s instruction without merely struggling to change your behavior?
