Living Courageously in Perilous Times
Joshua was an assistant to Moses, the greatest prophet to ever live and the first human mouthpiece of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; the one who would deliver the very word of God to the people. This young assistant now faced the challenge of walking in the footsteps of the only leader the nation of Israel had known since the 430 years in Egypt. Not only that, but he was expected to lead this nation into battle, crossing the Jordan and beginning the conquest of Canaan. Where would he find the courage? Where would he find the strength to fulfill this role that he was given?
