Exodus 11-18 depicts God’s deliverance of the children of Israel from captivity in Egypt. God not only removes them from captivity but he provides for them as they follow his leading through Moses and by the pillar of cloud by day and fire by night. God immediately begins to teach them about himself and about his merciful provision and protection. This deliverance would be a foundational act of God in history that was to be remembered forever.
