And You Will Receive Power

In Acts chapters 1-2 we see God pour out his promise of the Holy Spirit upon the early believers and we witness the creation of the church of Jesus Christ. It is of course the indwelling presence of the Spirit of Christ that defines the church and unites all believers in what theologians call “the invisible church”. This refers not to those who visibly attend church services or are on a membership role but to those who have been born anew and are members of the family of God by faith like Abraham had. In this service we will see that the Holy Spirit provides the power believers need to walk in faith and to extend the reach of God’s earthly Kingdom to the ends of the earth.
